After the WWE Royal Rumble, the Superstars in the WWE travel all over the United States for the WWE Live Road to WrestleMania tour. The tour includes stops at some of the top arenas in the country, including New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden. During the two months of the tour, watch to see the buildup for some of the biggest WWE rivalries. The live tours feature intimate interactions, moments you’ll never see on TV and some of the WWE’s biggest stars like Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston and Braun Strowman. The women’s roster also competes and includes superstars like Bayley, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. Enjoy the unpredictable excitement and action of this wrestling event when you purchase WWE Live Road to WrestleMania tickets at StubHub.
The WWE Live Road to WrestleMania schedule features a mix of matches from all of the WWE brands. You will see a lot of tag-team action featuring WWE tag teams like The Usos along with two feuds combining to create a compelling tag-team match. The women’s card is often filled with all types of matchings, including Women’s Championship matches, tag-team matches and Fatal Four Way matches. Roman Reigns is often featured in some sort of specialty match on the tour. This has included a No Holds Barred match, No Disqualification Match and a Falls Count Anywhere match.
The tour begins in the week following the WWE Royal Rumble. Since the winner of the Royal Rumble is guaranteed a title shot at WrestleMania, the Road to WrestleMania technically begins at this point. Most years, the tour starts in early February and will run up until the end of March. There will usually be two to three live-event shows each week.
The WWE Live Road to WrestleMania tour is one of the best ways to see the top WrestleMania matches before they actually take place at the event. For example, back in 2015, John Cena took on Rusev numerous times on the live tour before their big encounter at WrestleMania 31. Also in 2015, fans saw a memorable feud between Bad News Barrett and Dean Ambrose as the duo fought at multiple live events. In 2019, Roman Reigns battled Drew McIntyre in several live-event matches before their big encounter at WrestleMania 35. The tour has been going on for years and has featured notable WWE stars like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle and The Rock.
While events like Smackdown and Raw take place on television, a live event does not feature television cameras and has a more intimate environment. With no TV cameras or commercial breaks, WWE Superstars are prone to interact with the crowd more. Matches may also be longer as wrestlers try out new moves and gimmicks. You will get to see a wide range of performers, and in some cases, wrestlers may perform multiple times a night.
