The diverse, multicultural city of Winnipeg is the capital of Manitoba, Canada. Once a prairie town at the heart of the country's fur trade, Winnipeg has grown into a hub of world-class entertainment. Winnipeg's largest venue, Bell MTS Place, is where you'll catch not only great concerts but also great hockey with the Winnipeg Jets. Located in downtown Winnipeg near the forks of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers, it's close to many fun and fine dining establishments so you can enjoy a bite to eat before or after a show. Another great music venue in the same downtown area is the Burton Cummings Theatre, located in a restored historic theater space, while the Centennial Concert Hall often hosts large theater productions.
