For the 2020 season, the Hokies have brought on experienced players like junior Anthony Simonelli, senior Peyton Alford, junior Ian Seymour and sophomore Chris Gerard. With outstanding sophomores Nick Biddison and Kevin Madden to lead, the Virginia Tech Hokies anticipate a big offensive season in 2020. Grab your Virginia Tech Hokies Baseball tickets at StubHub.

Szefc came into Blacksburg with a 392-259-3 career record in 12 seasons as a head coach in NCAA baseball.

''Opened in 1989, English Field at Atlantic Union Bank Park is the home for the Hokies. It's named for the late E.R. Red English who, along with his wife Ruth, was a financial backer of the original construction of the field. The stadium has a grandstand area with press-level premium suites. There are 1,132 fixed chair-back seats in the stands along with a club level that's over the first-base dugout. There's also a picnic area along the right-field line and terracing along the third-base line.'
