'UNLV Rebels Tickets'

'The UNLV Rebels got its start back in 1968. That's fairly late for a Division I school, but it fits in neatly with the rapid development of Las Vegas during that era. Since then, the team has made a big impact, both in the football world and in popular culture. The UNLV Rebels count ESPN anchor Kenny Mayne and hip-hop mogul Suge Knight among its former players. On the field, the team has become known for its exciting style of play. Starting off as a Division II Independent team, the Rebels quickly moved up in the world. By 1978, just a decade into its existence, it was playing Division I Independent ball. Throughout its history, UNLV has played in four bowl games. The team has a record of 2-2, including one forfeit in 1984. As a Division II team, it also participated in the Grantland Rice Bowl one year, facing off against the University of Delaware.
