The UNLV Revels baseball team first took to the field in 1967. The team's all-time record is 1,623-1,348-8 (.546) in 52 seasons. This NCAA Division I team, also known as the Hustlin’ Rebels, calls home field advantage at
Earl E. Wilson Stadium at Roger Barnson Field since its opening in 1994. With a seating capacity of 3,000 fans, it is here that they will begin their season in mid-February with a string of home games. Over the years, the Rebels have made 20 appearances in the NCAA Tournament, including four appearances in the Final Four. They hold the title to one NCAA Tournament Championship in 1990. The UNLV Hall of Fame inductees include Ralph Garcia (1967-1970), Herb Pryor (1988), Matt Williams (1997) and the entire 1980 baseball squad. Who coaches the UNLV Revels baseball team?
Stan Stolte has been the head coach of the Hustlin’ Rebels since the 2016 season. Prior to that, he was the Rebels’ Associate Head Coach since 2010. In his 33-year career of coaching college baseball, he has seen 115 of his players sign professional contracts. Of those, 17 were for major league baseball. Stolte is assisted by associate head coach Kevin Higgins, who also began with the Rebels in 2010 as assistant coach. Stolte and Higgins are supported by assistant coach/recruiting coordinator, Cory Vanderhook, and volunteer pitching coach, Greg Maddux.
