''The Connecticut Huskies Women's Basketball team is one the most successful women's basketball programs in the nation. The Lady Huskies are winners of 11 NCAA tournament championships, including four consecutive tournament victories from 2013 to 2016, an unbeaten record in women’s college basketball. The ladies of UConn have made it into the Final Four 20 times and won their fair share of conference regular season and tournament titles. The Lady Huskies basketball team displays its dominance in owning the two longest winning streaks in basketball history. The longest streak was 111 straight games and began in November of 2014. The Lady Huskies did not lose again until a 2017 Final Four overtime loss to the Mississippi State Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Huskies numerous victories have been lead by Head Coach Geno Auriemma, who has been with the team since 1985. You can purchase Connecticut Huskies Women's Basketball tickets at StubHub.'

''Meagan Walker is a top player for the 2019-2020 Connecticut Huskies and is expected to receive serious consideration for recognition as an All-American. At one point this season, Walker was averaging 22.1 points per game to go along with 8.9 rebounds. She has also been recognized nationally with a number of player-of-the-week honors. Crystal Dangerfield is a point guard that provides the current Lady Huskies team with senior leadership and works to make sure every player on the floor is involved in the offense. In fact, Dangerfield has been so good at distributing the ball to her teammates she is now 10th on the list of all-time assist leaders at UConn. Christyn Wiliams is now a Sophomore but started playing as a Freshman for UConn. Williams is expected to play a huge role for the team and the coaching staff is depending on her to score a lot of points for the team.'
'Head Coach Geno Auriemma is in his 35th year as the Lady Huskies head coach and has changed the way success is defined for head coaches in college basketball. Since Auriemma arrived in Storrs, Connecticut to begin the 1985 season, the Huskies have won all eleven of their championships, enjoyed 49 conference championships and finished seasons with a perfect season six times.'
'The number of great players who have called themselves Lady Huskies makes it difficult to compile a best of list for the team. However, there are a few Lady Huskies who were able to set themselves apart from other alumni. Diana Taurasi is believed by many to be the most valuable Lady Huskie to her team. While at UConn, Taurasi's Lady Huskies won three straight NCAA Championships. The final two championships were earned with Taurasi as the only All-American on the Lady Huskies roster. The other nine championship rosters for UConn included multiple All-Americans. The list of accomplishments by Maya Moore can seem a bit unbelievable when considered all at once. Moore scored more points than any other Lady Huskie in history. She also earned first-team AP All-American honors each of the four years she attended classes at the University of Connecticut. Maya Moore won the Wade Trophy three times. She was also named the AP Player of the year following two of her four seasons as a Lady Huskie.'
