The Town Hall is a historic performance space in Midtown Manhattan in the heart of New York City. The venue first opened in January 1921 and has seen multiple political groups take residence and meet inside of it as well as iconic musical performers like Whitney Houston. Though it was recently designated as a National Historic Landmark in 2013, Town Hall still regularly hosts events. Some of these events include shows by comedy stalwarts like

''The Town Hall seating is for roughly 1,500 attendees. This seating can range between 1,200 and 1,495 depending on the type of event taking place. The seating is somewhat unique, as there are no box seats and no seats with an obstructed view.'
'There is no on-site parking at the Town Hall as the venue is in the heart of New York City. However, there are multiple parking garages in the vicinity, and if you must park farther away, there are a multitude of taxis and ridesharing services that will transport you to the venue.'
'There is no food available for purchase at the Town Hall. However, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages are available for purchase before the show and during intermission. You can purchase these in the lobby.'
'You can get to the Town Hall via public transport quite easily. If you're taking the subway, most lines run to stops nearby. You can take the 1, 2, 3, 7, N, Q, R, and S lines to the Times Square - 42nd Street stop; the A, C, and E to the 42nd Street - Port Authority stop; and the B, D, M, and F lines to the 42nd Street - Brant Park stop. You can take the M42, M5, M7 or M20 bus to a stop along the avenue.'
