The Rooftop at Pier 17 is part of the historic South Street Seaport in Manhattan, New York City. Though this venue is part of a designated historical district, it recently was renovated in order to bring modern shopping areas and entertainment venues to the area. The Rooftop at Pier 17 was part of this renovation, with construction only finishing in mid-2018.
