The Observatory Santa Ana
'
The Observatory Santa Ana is one of the premier venues in Orange County for musical events. This large, indoor venue hosts multiple events at the same time and boasts of the intimate feeling guests have inside such a large space. That atmosphere is created by the division of the building into two venues. The second is known as the Constellation Room. The Observatory Santa Ana began life as the Galaxy Concert Theatre, which struggled in the late 2000s. When it closed its doors, it was taken over and reopened by Jon Reiser of Costa Mesa. Under his management, the building was renovated and rebranded as The Observatory OC. Observatory performers include the
Chromatics
,
Foster the People
,
Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
and the
Cold War Kids
