Birthed from jam sessions between guitarist Bob Morris and pianist/guitarist Greta Salpeter, the bright sounds of the Hush Sound originated in the Windy City in the mid-2000s. The duo added drummer Darren Wilson and bassist Chris Faller to their lineup, and the quartet’s sparkling indie pop music caught the eye of Fall Out Boy standout Pete Wentz, who signed the group to his Fueled by Ramen label in 2005 and ignited the fire to the band’s fuse.
Some of the best indie music of the 2000s is coming out of Chicago, and the rising indie pop sensation the Hush Sound is no different from the rest in that aspect. The Hush Sound has wowed fans with albums So Sudden (2005), Like Vines (2006) and Goodbye Blues (2007), and now band members are taking their act to venues across the country with live performances, so get concert tickets to see them in action.
