This English indie rock band first formed in Southend-on-Sea in 2005. The group is composed of Faris Badwan, Joshua Hayward, Tom Cowan, Rhys Webb, and Joe Spurgeon. Their compositions fit in the genres of garage rock, gothic rock, shoegazing, and post-punk revival.
