'The Crocodile is a beloved Northwest Seattle-area landmark that has hosted some of the most legendary acts of the past two decades. Opened in 1991 at the height of the grunge and indie music scene that defined the 1990s and Seattle in particular, music fans have enjoyed the music of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Yoko Ono, R.E.M., Cheap Trick, the Beastie Boys, Tom Morello, The Ting Tings, Ben Harper, Meat Puppets, Macklemore, Alabama Shakes and many others. The venue briefly closed its doors in 2007 to undergo needed construction and renovations, but unlike other historic music venues that have closed their doors for good, The Crocodile reopened in 2009 and continues to occupy a place in the Belltown music scene.'
'The Crocodile is open seven nights a week and hosts live music acts as well as private events and fundraisers. Patrons can purchase pizza and cold drinks at The Back Bar. In addition to musical acts, they also host weekly events, including DJ nights, burlesque, happy hour bingo and Tuesday night karaoke for a $5 cover. Open seven days a week until 2 a.m., daily happy hour is from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. - Close. All sales are final unless due to cancellation.'
