The Texas Tech Red Raiders men's basketball team is coming back from the most successful season in oraganization history with an appearance in the NCAA Championship Finals. Once again, USC and Nebraska will be the teams to beat, and fans are expecting victories similar to those achieved by the Red Raiders against those same teams last season. The key to last season was defense. The Red Raiders was the top-ranked team in adjusted defensive efficiency. Davide Moretti is the only starter returning to the squad this year. He was one of the team's top scorers in the 2018-2019 season. Fans are expecting great things from recruit Jahmius Ramsey, who has shown great shooting prowess during the team's preseason training in the Bahamas.
