'The Horned Frogs' team is coming off a winning season. The 2018-2019 season saw the Horned Frogs winning 23 games and losing 14. Seven of the 23 were conference wins. Breaking down these wins by location, the Frogs won 15 home games, three away games and five neutral games. The Frogs accumulated 2,730 points last season, averaging 73.8 points per game.'

The 22nd head coach for the Horned Frogs, Jamie Dixon, is going into his fourth season. Previously serving as the head coach of the
Pittsburgh Panthers
for 13 seasons, TCU is his alma mater. Dixon was inducted into the TCU Hall of Fame in 2007. He’s found major success as TCU’s head coach. He led the Horned Frogs to its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 1998, coached the team to the 2018 NIT championship and is the quickest coach in TCU history to coach the Horned Frogs to 60 wins. Throughout his career, Dixon has earned four National Coach of the Year honors and is ranked No. 18 among winning Division I coaches.

. Previously known as the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum, the arena seats 6,800 people. ''Desmond Bane and Kevin Samuel are two returning starters that the team will be relying upon heavily at TCU Horned Frogs' basketball games this season. Both players started in all 37 games last season. Bane averaged 15.2 points per game, and Samuel averaged 7.4 points. Guard RJ Nembhard, Owen Aschieris and Russell Barlow are also returning. In addition to these returning members, the team has four four-star new recruits this season: PJ Fuller, Diante Smith, Jaedon LeDee and Francisco Farabello.'
