'Born Martin Joseph Léonard Bresso, Tchami is a French DJ and record producer attributed with pioneering future house music along with DJs Don Diablo and Oliver Heldens from The Netherlands. He was the first artist credited with using the term, in fact, adding it as a SoundCloud tag that ended up taking off. Living and working in his native Paris, he co-founded the collective Pardon My French along with DJs Snake, Malaa and Mercer. Tchami first came to prominence with his remix of the Janet Jackson song Go Deep.'
'
Beyond his remixes, Tchami's original songs have also achieved their own success, like Promesses, which hit No. 7 on the UK charts. He took on the pseudonym he uses today while visiting Africa. Some of his own key tours and event performances as a lead act include Something Wicked, Decadence 2017, No Redemption Tour (with Malaa), CRSSD Festival, EDC Mexico 2018, Tchami x Malaa and Ultra Music Festival. Meanwhile, Tchami has managed to release four Extended Plays, more than a dozen remixes, two music videos (for After Life featuring Stacy Barthe and World to Me featuring Luke James) and 21 singles. He's also notched production credits for composing three Lady Gaga songs off her album
Artpop

'When Tchami performs, he often dons the costume and demeanor of a priest and incorporates a church theme into the staging. He claims that such touches as the clerical collar he wears or the stained glass and altar visuals projected behind him help to convey the spiritual messages of his work. In addition to playing future house, which he helped to establish, he also plays bass house.'
