Talladega SuperSpeedway
The Talladega SuperSpeedway opened on September 13, 1969, and is located in Lincoln, AL. The superspeedway plays host to yearly
NASCAR
races with speeds easily going in excess of 200 mph. The length of the oval allows for some of the fastest speeds in the sport. In fact, the facility has held a few records, such as the fastest recorded time by racecar driver Rusty Wallace in 2004. It is the longest racetrack on the NASCAR circuit, measuring 2.66 miles, and it has a seating capacity of 80,000. You may recognize the track's name from Will Ferrell's movie
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
, which was partially filmed at the superspeedway. Long-time fans know that The Big is always looming. You can catch the
Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series
,
NASCAR Xfinity Series
and
NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series
annually. StubHub is your ticket source for Talladega SuperSpeedway events.
