The Sioux Falls Stampede is an established Sioux Falls attraction and has garnered attention and enthusiasm since 1998, even before the team participated in its first season. As of the 2019 season, The Herd has earned three championships, three trips to the quarterfinals, two trips to the semifinals and seven trips to the championships, taking the Clark Cup back to Sioux Falls a total of four times. The Stampede has successfully taken on the Chicago Steel, the Sioux City Musketeers and other competitive teams within the league, and the Herd attracts top young players from around the world. In keeping with the USHL's goal to mentor and challenge young players as they pursue college-level programs and NHL careers, the Herd actively recruits players between the ages of 16 and 21. The team's games regularly boast high attendance with the 2015-2016 season welcoming 6,600 attendees per game.

Denny Sanford PREMIERE Center
