Sean Kingston Tickets

Kisean Paul Anderson (born February 3, 1990), known professionally as Sean Kingston, is a Jamaican-American singer-songwriter and rapper, residing from Miami, Florida.

Sean began to make music as early as 2007. He was first discovered on YouTube by Matt Tobin of Beluga Hights Records, which landed himself a partnership deal with Sony Music Entertainment. In a joint venture between Epic Records and Koch Records, Kingston recorded and released “Beautiful Girls” on May 26, 2007. Commercially, the song was a smash hit internationally, topping the charts worldwide, peaking at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as earning a 2X Platinum certification from the RIAA. Two months later on July 31, 2007, Sean released his self-titled debut studio album, which also saw commercial success. The album debuted at #6 on the Billboard 100 and later earned the Gold certification from the RIAA.

Entering into 2009, Sean Kingston would continue to find success in the mainstream, releasing songs such as “Fire Burning” and “Face Drop,” both of which would find its own success, with “Fire Burning” being the successful of the two, peaking at #5 on the Billboard 200. Then on September 22, 2009, Sean Kingston released his sophomore studio album, Tomorrow. Unlike self-titled, Tomorrow debuted and peaked at #37 on the Billboard 200. In the same year, Sean Kingston co-wrote Jason Derulo’s debut single, “Whatcha Say,” which originally was going to be Kingston’s song. Kingston was also responsible in finding the R&B-reggae singer Iyaz through MySpace and signed him to J.R. Rotem’s record label.

Sean Kingston would enter 2010 with another smash hit, this time collaborating with the then-young Justin Bieber on the song “Eenie Meenie,” which topped the charts all over the world. The song would peak at #15 on the Billboard 200 and would later receive the Platinum certification by the RIAA. Since the smash hit’s release, Kingston would continue to collaborate with big named artists such as Nicki Minaj on the song “Letting Go (Dutty Love),” which also saw a similar success to “Eenie Meenie.”

During the years of 2010 and 2013, with no albums being release during those times, Kingston would release a series of singles and a mixtape titled King of Kingz, in anticipation for his third studio album, Back 2 Life. The album saw a release on September 10, 2013. Unlike self-titled and Tomorrow, Back 2 Life commercially failed as the album failed to enter the Billboard 200.

Since then, Sean Kingston has since continued to release music from time to time, now becoming an independent artist, stepping away from Beluga Heights, as well as collaborating with other artists such as Tory Lanez, G Herbo, Vybz Kartel, and many more. On September 30, 2022, after continuing to release a series of singles, he released his long awaited fourth studio album, Road To Deliverance.
