Part dance party, part laser light spectacular, Savoy's high-energy live shows bring dynamic performances to fans all over the nation, combining elements of Led Zeppelin, Daft Punk and Rage Against the Machine.
The trio Savoy -- Mike Kelly, Ben Eberdt and Gary Smith -- met at the University of Colorado Boulder. Now based in Brooklyn, N.Y., they regularly play for roiling crowds of energized fans at festivals, nightclubs, arenas and other major venues around the country.
Savoy has released several EPs and one album, Self Predator, which emerged in 2014. The band's EPs include Three Against Nature (2013) and 1000 Years (2015). Their work also includes a vast number of singles, including collaborations with bands such as Imagine Dragons and Summer Was Fun.
The only electronic act sponsored by Gibson Guitars, Savoy prides itself on a sound that mixes rock and electronic dance music. As the band has said of their 1000 Light Years Tour, they aim to create an atmosphere where audience members can feel one minute as if they're back in the '70s at the height of rock and the next feel as if they've been blasted 1000 years into the future.
