The Scarlet Knights team is still acclimating to the Big Ten Conference, which the team joined in 2014. This year, the Knights team is striving for a winning season. Three of the team's key players from last season, Shaquille Dorson, Eugene Omoruyi and Issa Thiam will not be joining the Knights for the 2019-20 season. Like last year, Geo Baker will be the star of the Scarlet Knights again this season. The team will rise depending on the improvement in his level of play. Fans can anticipate several important games early in the season. The Knights will compete in the Garden State Showcase against
Bryant
, Drexel and Stephen F. Austin. The ACC-Big Ten Challenge is another key event that you shouldn't miss as the Knights will match up against Pittsburgh. The final big game of the year is the Garden State Hardwood Classic against Seton Hall. Almost all of Rutgers' non-conference games will be at home, so suit up in your scarlet Rutgers gear and cheer the team on. Get your Knights tickets at StubHub using the secure payment platform.
''Rutgers Scarlet Knights basketball tickets are so affordable that you can bring your entire family. Tickets can be more expensive for the Big Ten Super Saturday game in February against the Michigan Wolverines.'

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights play at the
Rutgers Athletic Center
, which is on campus. The center is also known as the RAC. The RAC has previously hosted the New Jersey Nets, the Rutgers University Dance Marathon and the Big Ten Gymnastics Championships. The Rutgers men's basketball, women's basketball, wrestling and gymnastics teams all call the RAC home.
''The Rutgers Scarlet Knights plays in the Big 10 Conference. Before joining the Big 10 Conference in 2014, it was a member of the American Athletic Conference during the 2013-14 season. The Knights finished 10th in the conference last season with a 7-13 record.'
'The RAC has a reputation for having one of the loudest fan bases in college basketball. The 8,000 seats are very close to the court. There are multiple concession stands and other facilities for fans attending the Scarlet Knights' home games.'

The head coach of the Rutgers Scarlet Knights is Steve Pikiell. Pikiell led the Scarlet Knights on a summer basketball tour of Spain to prepare for the 2019-20 season. Last year,
Sports Illustrated
named the Knights as the Most Improved Team under Pikiell's mentoring. Pikiell is hoping to complete the rebuilding phase and become more competitive in the upcoming season. He coached the Knights to key wins over
Ohio State
and Iowa. Before joining the Knights, Pikiell was the coach for Stony Brook.
''The Rutgers Scarlet Knights team has never won a national title. The last time the team made it to the Final Four was in 1976. The Knights men's basketball has been to the NCAA Tournament since 1991.'
'The Rutgers Scarlet Knights' record last season was 14-17. The team performed relatively well at home games. Spurred on by the cheers of their fans, the Knights achieved a winning home record of 10-7.'
