The Royal Alexandra Theatre is a historic venue in Toronto, Canada. First built and opened in 1907, this is the oldest theatre that has been continuously operating in all of North America. To preserve the history of this iconic venue while making it accessible to modern audiences, the Royal Alexandra Theatre saw massive renovations in 2016. The Royal Alexandra Theatre can seat 1,244 audience members. This is a slight reduction from the 1,497 it was able to seat prior to renovations. However, the seats available now offer more comfort and stage visibility. There are also now more amenities inside the venue.

You can also take the 141, 142, 97 or 26 buses if you don't mind walking a short distance. The 1 subway takes you directly to the Royal Alexandra Theatre when you exit at the St. Andrew stop.
