'Richard Cheese tour tickets'

Known for his finger-snapping take on popular tracks by artists ranging from Guns N' Roses to Beyonce, Richard Cheese is the alter-ego of funnyman Mark Davis. Inspired by the swanky lounge styles of classic crooners such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett, Cheese fronts the swing trio Lounge Against the Machine. Since arriving on the national scene in 2000, he has sold more than 200,000 records and performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and CNN.

Fans buying Richard Cheese tickets can expect the comedian/musician to turn up in his trademark tiger-striped tuxedo and belt out popular tunes from Rihanna to Radiohead and everything in between.

'Richard Cheese history'

'

The man behind Richard Cheese, Mark Davis, got his break in showbiz in the '80s, when he parodied songs for popular radio stations like KZZP-FM. He made his recording debut with 2000's Lounge Against The Machine, which was quickly noticed by prime-time radio jocks and TV channels alike. Uncensored lounge versions of Nirvana's Rape Me and Rage Against the Machine's Guerrilla Radio found favor with audiences. But it was his role as co-host of MTV's Say What? Karaoke that truly put him on the map.

Cheese was soon headlining concerts at venues like the Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas. His subsequent 2002 effort,Tuxicity, was equally well received, with his growing popularity earning him frequent spots on NBC's Last Call With Carson Daly.

Cheese released three new LPs in 2015, including Bakin' At The Boulder, a live album from his sold-out concert at the Boulder Theatre. That same year, Cheese also staged the Lounging Man Music Festival in San Francisco.

Cheese's music has been featured in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Public Enemies and Dawn Of The Dead.

'Richard Cheese live experience'

'

Most bands head out on tour after releasing an album. Richard Cheese and his trio do it the other way around - live testing songs before putting them on a compilation. Thus, fans attending his tour dates can expect to hear new material and even newer takes on songs the group has already covered.

Cheese and his band have the ability to turn even hard-hitting anthems like Slipknot's People = S*** into soothing, jazzy numbers. His rendition of Sir-Mix-A-Lot's Baby Got Back is a favorite among Dick-Heads - as Cheese's fans are fondly known. Richard Cheese and Lounge Against The Machine typically open with Nine Inch Nails' Closer, although surprises can be expected.

Cheese, who is renowned for his over-sized microphone and tongue-in-cheek humor, maintains a prolific live performance schedule, hosting concerts in major cities across the US, including Las Vegas, New York and New Orleans.
