Radio City Christmas Spectacular
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall is a holiday tradition for New Yorkers and visitors to the Big Apple. The show features the world famous Rockettes dance troupe, a visit from Santa, scenes from The Nutcracker and much more. It’s a one-of-a-kind production that is one of New York’s most popular wintertime destinations.
More than 1 million fans buy Radio City Christmas Spectacular tickets each year to witness more than 100 performers who sing, dance and act their way through the holiday show. The production is typically schedule from November to January and tickets often sell out in advance for peak holiday season dates.
Radio City Christmas Spectacular has evolved over the years, including a major update for its 40th anniversary, but two segments remain constant — the world famous “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers” featuring the Rockettes and “The Living Nativity.”
The Christmas Spectacular is complemented by the New York Spring Spectacular, a celebration of all things New York also featuring the Rockettes.
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular takes place at Radio City Music Hall in Rockefeller Center. The venue is one of New York’s most celebrated cultural destinations. The art deco style venue is the world’s largest indoor theater. It’s marquee is equally large, stretching an entire city block. Several subway lines service the venue via the 47th-50th/Rockefeller Center station.
