Quad Cities River Bandits Tickets

The Quad Cities River Bandits are the Single-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, They've been a part of the Midwest League since the franchise was founded in 1981. Then known as the Quad City Angels, the team served as the Single-A affiliate for the Los Angeles Angels. After winning the Midwest League Championship in 1990, the team was rebranded for the 1992 season. The first year of the Quad City River Bandits was 1992. It was also the last year under the Angels' umbrella. After passing through both the Houston Astros and the Minnesota Twins organizations, the team underwent another change for the 2004 season. In 2004, the team become known as the Swing of the Quad Cities. After three consecutive playoff berths and only four seasons, one more change was made to the team, and today’s Quad Cities River Bandits were finally born. The Astros took the organization over once again before the 2013 season and immediately won the team's second Midwest League Championship in three seasons. Modern Woodman Park is certainly one of the oldest parks in Minor League Baseball. The stadium was built in 1931 and can seat over 7,000 fans when traditional seating, grassy berms and open seating bleachers are all taken into account.
