Combine electropop with rock and cover it in darkness, and you have the sound of American rock band PVRIS. The band has been described as post-hardcore, alt-rock and synth-pop. It may be difficult to put a label on the band, but its recipe seems to be a winning one. It's won awards for its music nearly every year since its 2012 advent. When not turning critical heads, PVRIS made new fans touring with
Bring Me the Horizon
and
Fall Out Boy
. It also played the Battle of the Bands stage at
Warped Tour
and
Lollapolooza
, pleasing fans with its hybrid sound.

The acoustic audio video for Only Love from early 2014 is still the band's most-viewed video, but it was their first album,
White Noise
, that made a big splash with critics. The song You and I from that album was the first to chart in the US and the UK after it debuted on Radio 104.5. The band won
Rock Sound
's Artist Of The Year in 2017 while singer Lynn received the Rock Sound icon from them the following year - the same year she was featured on Disappear by
Tonight Alive
. Boston Music Awards awarded the band Artist of the Year twice, and PVRIS has won awards from Alternative Press Music, AltRock and Kerang! Its followup in 2017,
All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell
, charted in the US, UK and Australia. PVRIS debuted the song Heaven from that album on BBC's Radio 1 Rock Show. It returned to Radio 1 to release What's Wrong from that same album on Annie Mac. After a switch to Reprise/Warner Records, PVRIS released the song Death of Me in July 2019, and the song debuted at No. 1 on the Kerrang Rock Chart. The band has yet to release information about its forthcoming album.

'The band is currently touring. After several shows in Europe, including Reading Festival and FM4 Frequency Festival 2019, PVRIS will return to the United States in September.'
'
The list of upcoming appearances includes one stop each in Austria, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands and France. UK fans will have two chances to see the band: one in Reading and other in Wetherby. If you live in the United States, you can buy PVRIS tickets to see their shows in Los Angeles where the band will play the famous
El Rey Theatre
and San Francisco's
Great American Music Hall
as well as in Denver, Minneapolis, Cambridge and Brooklyn.
''Current members are Lynn Gunn on vocals and rhythm guitar, Alex Babinski on lead guitar and keyboards and Brian MacDonald on bass and keyboards. Each of these is a founding member. Prior band members include vocalist Kyle Anthony, a founder of the band, and drummer Brad Griffin. PVRIS has toured with Justin Nace on drums since 2014.'
'The upcoming shows are a mix of smaller venues that will feel more intimate and festivals, which may host thousands of music lovers. Prices to smaller theaters are quite affordable, so it's smart to buy your PVRIS tickets before they become a household name. Most of these venues are standing-room only, so fans may want to call if they need to learn about ADA accommodations.'
'Rest assured you'll hear classic PVRIS songs such as My House, St. Patrick, Fire, Smoke and Mirrors. The band will also be playing its recently released single Death of Me. The average PVRIS concert is about 12 songs long, although some shorts are significantly shorter.'
