In 2020, the River Cats will see Dave Brundage at the helm as manager, with hitting coach Damon Minor and a new pitching coach, Glenn Dishman rounding out the top leadership. Greater Nevada Field
in a highly-anticipated match-up. The River Cats play their home games at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, previously known as

''The River Cats won the championship last year, but it was not an easy season for the team. The River Cats had a one-game winner-take-all matchup in Memphis on Sept. 17 against the Columbus Clippers, the International League champions. From that game, they earned their third Triple-A national championship, which was the most by any other team in the league. Since becoming the San Francisco Giants’ minor league affiliate in 2015, it was the River Cats first winning record. They ended the 2019 regular season with a total of 73-67.'
'When you catch a River Cats game in person, you might see pitcher Caleb Baragar, originally from Michigan on the mound, or Jerry Blevins, born in Tennessee. In 2019, Baragar was named the National Championship MVP for his pitching against Columbus, when he allowed just two hits. River Cats catchers expected to have a long playing career include Rob Brantly, Tyler Heineman and Bryan Torres. Looking to the infield, fans should keep an eye on Zach Green and Cristhian Adames while outfielders Jacob Heyward or Joey Rickard have also displayed a high level of skill on the field. In 2019, the River Cats lost one of their major players, Mike Yastrzemski. He became a quick fan favorite for MLB’s Giants and was one of the River Cats first-half stars before moving on to join the major leagues.'
'Tailgating is permitted at Sutter Health Park when confined to your individual parking space within the parking lot. It should not interfere with any other parking spaces. Please note that open containers of alcohol and consumption of alcohol are not allowed. This rule is part of a Sacramento city ordinance and should be strictly adhered to when tailgating at a River Cats home game.'
'Baseball games offer abundant family fun at Sutter Health Park. In fact, the facility includes a nod to families with it’s Down on the Farm kids play area with a play structure and a misting pad during warmer weather. Younger fans will also enjoy exploring the venue’s Main Street replica and a kid-sized ball court. This exciting area is free of charge for ballgame attendees.'
'Yes, every Wednesday, the team hosts Wet Nose Wednesday at Sutter Health Park. Your four-legged friends are welcome to attend these events and root for their favorite team, the River Cats. Other special nights with fun themes at Sutter Health Park during the River Cats’ season include Orange Fridays and Thirsty Thursdays.'
