'Iowa Barnstormers Tickets'

'The Iowa Barnstormers was officially announced in 1994 as an expansion franchise for the Arena Football League — a faster, more high-scoring variant of the NFL. Led by quarterback Kurt Warner, Iowa was an early league powerhouse. It qualified for two straight ArenaBowls in 1996 and 1997 but lost both games to Tampa Bay and Arizona. In 2000, the franchise was sold to the NHL’s New York Islanders ownership group and became the New York Dragons. A new Barnstormers franchise continued on as an Arena Football developmental program for a single season before folding. This deprived Des Moines of an indoor football team for several seasons. However, with the completion of the Wells Fargo Arena, a group of investors revived the Barnstormers for the 2008 af2 season and later the AFL in 2010. After transitioning to the Indoor Football League, the Barnstormers won its first ever league title with a 42-38 victory over Sioux Falls in the 2018 United Bowl. Between 1995 and 1997, the Northern Iowa graduate accumulated 10,465 yards, 183 touchdowns and 43 interceptions. His jersey is the only number to be retired by the Barnstormers. Besides Warner, many Barnstormer players have made the First Team All-Arena Team, including quarterbacks Aaron Garcia and Jason Simpson, wide receivers Carlos James and Marco Thomas, offensive specialist Mike Horacek, defensive specialist Kevin Kaesviharn and kicker Clay Rush.'

'During the 2019 regular season, the Iowa Barnstormers finished second in the entire league with a record of 12-2. However, the season ended with a 52-50 loss to IFL powerhouse Sioux Falls in the semifinals game. The Barnstormers held a 44-31 lead to start the fourth quarter, but the Storm came roaring back with two straight touchdowns. Quarterback Daquan Neal went 9-11 with 92 passing yards, rushed for an additional 84 rushing yards and scored four total touchdowns in the loss. Sioux Falls would go on to win yet another IFL championship in the United Bowl against the then-undefeated Arizona Rattlers.'
