Paramount Theatre Seattle
The Paramount Theatre hosts many concerts and art performances in the city. Opened on March 1, 1928, this venue originally showed silent films to the public. On October 9, 1974, the historic theatre was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today, many of the top Broadway shows perform at this location, including
Hamilton
and
Wicked
. Seattle's own
School of Rock
hosts its events at the venue as well. For those who want to see more musical and comedic performances, artists like Celtic Women and
Rainn Wilson
have all performed on Paramount's stage. If you are looking for excellent seats to any event, make sure you grab your Paramount Theatre tickets at StubHub.
The theater can accommodate up to 2,807 visitors.
Located on the main floor, you will find seats for the lower orchestra level. Upper-level seats are located in the loge and mezzanine levels. The Paramount Theatre is a large venue, and there are excellent views from almost every seat. The orchestra level will give you the closest position to the stage. This lower level area is at the same level as the stage, so you will be facing the performers at eye level. The first elevated level is the loge level. You will be above the stage without being too high up in the air. The mezzanine has three levels. The 1st mezzanine level is the most desirable area in this section since it is closer to the stage.
Unfortunately, for those attending Paramount Theatre events, there is no parking lot at the venue. A loading zone is located at Pine and 9th Avenue to drop off and pick up passengers. Throughout the neighborhood, you can find several parking lots and metered street parking.
Award-winning chef Tom Douglas provides concessions and beverages for the venue. You can find plenty of seasonal menu items, themed cocktails and a variety of beverages. The doors open one hour before showtime, so you can grab a cocktail to enjoy. The Paramount Theatre also offers traditional concession fare, including candy, popcorn and soft drinks. A full bar is opened for guest 21 and over.
The Paramount Theatre is wheelchair-accessible at the orchestra level. This venue does not have any elevator access in the building. At the orchestra level, the accessible seats are slightly elevated, and the seats can be easily removed for a wheelchair. Ushers are available to help you remove the freestanding chair so that you can enjoy the performance. For General Admission performances, wheelchairs will have priority access to these accessible sections.
