The Ottawa Senators play at Canadian Tire Centre, a multi-purpose venue that opened in Ottawa, Ontario, in 1996, and has a seating capacity of 18,655 for NHL hockey. This circular brick building features a wide bank of tall windows at the front entrance to bring natural light into the concourse, and it’s surrounded by on site parking. Inside, the CTC is a classic hockey arena, big and spacious with excellent sight lines to the ice action. It's an enjoyable place to catch a game with a great fan atmosphere. The Sens have a new owner as of 2023 who is committed to building a new arena for the team in the downtown Ottawa, LeBreton Flats district. An agreement has been reached about the land and the design will include plans for creating an entertainment district around the new arena.
