In 2020, the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships are being held in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at

. The event will be held from March 19th to March 21st. The 2021 and 2022 locations have also been announced as St. Louis, Missouri, and Detroit, Michigan.
Since the founding of the tournament, just four wrestlers have won the individual championships four times for each year they were with their programs. The four-time winners are Pat Smith of Oklahoma State (1990-1992, 1994), Cael Sanderson of Iowa State (1999-2002), Kyle Dake of Cornell University (2010-2013) and Logan Stieber of Ohio State University (2012-2015).
