They joined the Southwest Conference in 1915 and in 1925, the team joined the Missouri Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Association. Then, in 1928, they moved into the Missouri Valley Conference. Since 1920, the team has called Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma, home. They finished 2018 with a record of 604–552–49 and a bowl record of 19–10. Oklahoma State has 10 conference titles: one national title and one unclaimed national title. In 1988, Barry Sanders won the Heisman Trophy, Maxwell and Walter Camp awards. Several players have gone on to a professional career in the NFL.
