Originally just a WWE Network exclusive, the NXT show now airs weekly on the USA Network and features a two-hour show full of wrestling action with the best in pro-wrestling. NXT originally featured popular WWE Superstars like Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, AJ Lee and Paige, who all went on to win major titles on the main WWE roster. Witness the action live and inperson as a majority of the tapings take place at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla. What are the different kinds of WWE NXT matches?

The NXT brand is known for a variety of wrestling matches, including traditional one-on-one competitive bouts, tag-team matches and multiperson matches, like a triple-threat match. One of the unique elements of the NXT Brand is its exclusive use of the War Games match. What started out in WCW has now evolved to NXT. In a WarGames match, two wrestling rings are placed side by side and surrounded by a steel cage. The match is split into multiple teams, and only one pinfall will declare the winner. The special WarGames event has taken place for multiple years and is typically held in bigger arenas, like the

Allstate Arena

in Rosemont, Ill., to help accommodate the bigger ring setup. There have been both male and female WarGames matches held at the event.

When do WWE NXT events typically take place, and where can I see them?

WWE NXT airs live on the USA Network every Wednesday, and tickets are available for all the live NXT shows. The NXT Takeover events take place on Saturdays as opposed to the traditional Sunday dates for standard WWE PPV events.

How big is the Full Sail University Arena?

Smaller events at Full Sail University can host over 1,000 people, but due to the ring setup, entrance stage and camera equipment, a typical event at Full University will hold around 300 fans. The smaller size of the stadium offers an intimate setting for anyone who attends a live event.
