'Stylized as NGHTMRE, disc jockey and producer Nghtmre was born in Connecticut as Tyler Marenyi. He primarily works with electronic dance music and makes remixes of popular songs to play live. He has created three extended plays and numerous popular singles.'
'
Marenyi started out as a big fan of tennis during his high school years and initially wanted to pursue a career in finance when he started college. However, a budding interest in music - particularly in remixes - caused him to move to LA to try his hand in that industry instead. Nghtmre was fortunate enough to meet the duo
SLANDER
while attending the Icon Collective. The musicians have since all worked together on various collaborations and live tours. Marenyi started out making trap or house remixes of existing songs by popular EDM artists such as
Skrillex
or
DJ Tiësto
. Doing this helped Nghtmre refine his skills and give him the confidence he needed to start producing his own work, though he still made remixes as well. He was signed to the record label owned by fellow artist
Diplo
, and Skrillex played one of Marenyi's original works during the latter's set at
Ultra Music Festival
.
''Live shows for DJs and mixers like Nghtmre can sell out quickly, so it's a great idea to use StubHub to grab the Nghtmre tickets you want before they're snapped up by frantic fans. Check out the desktop site or use the mobile app to see the entire upcoming Nghtmre schedule and find the tickets that work for you.'
'
Nghtmre is set to play at various festivals over the summer and as a collaborative live artist with other house music producers. His current tour covers much of the US, and you can grab tickets at StubHub to catch him and others at events like the
Hard Summer Music Festival
. If you want to see Marenyi in his element, he will be headlining several shows as well. You can see the complete Nghtmre schedule at StubHub.
''Marenyi is coming to several large and small venues across the US as part of his current tour circuit. Norfolk, Va, Charlotte, NC, Long Beach, Calif. and Cleveland, Ohio, are just a few of the cities for which you can purchase tickets to see Nghtmre live.'
'
Marenyi has released three extended plays so far. The first one was a joint production with Slander. His second release, 2016's
Nghtmre
, got to the
Billboard
Dance/Electronic Albums chart. In addition to the EPs, he has mixed or produced several singles that might be a part of any Nghtmre concert you attend. Any setlist can include singles that feature the efforts of other electronic dance music artists and their signature work.
''Many of Nghtmre's singles come from his extended plays, but he has also released collaborations that are not parts of his albums. You may hear some of these songs at a Nghtmre live performance. Some of the tracks that he has released separately include Mtrd, Street, Aftershock and Click Clack.'
'When you see a Nghtmre live performance, it will usually feature his signature Ableton Live sequencer. While most programs are designed for recording and mixing studio tracks, Ableton Live is intended to be a dual workstation and concert instrument. Marenyi can use this program to produce various effects for his tracks at whim, making each Nghtmre setlist a unique concert experience for all fans.'
'
In addition to several shows with Slander, Nghtmre has also performed live with groups like the
Glitch Mob
and fellow DJ
Seven Lions
.
