Combining engaging tunes with big hooks and an expansive theatrical performance, the trio Nero is like watching a cinematic experience unfold live on stage. Drawing on an extensive catalog tapping dubstep and drum and bass, the U.K. supergroup continues to push the boundaries of creativity and artistry.
After a break, Nero made a long-awaited return to the concert stage in 2015 with the release of Between II Worlds. Their sound is a satisfying blend of retro-EDM thump with the exuberance of modern artists like Calvin Harris and Skrillex.

Nero -- Daniel Stephens, Joseph Ray and Alana Watson -- saw their 2011 album Welcome Reality climb to No. 1 in the U.K. The following year, the song Promises achieved gold record status in the U.S. In 2013, they captured a Grammy award for a Promises remix in conjunction with Skrillex.
Ray and Stephens grew up in London composing songs on their home computers. Their shared interest led to working on compositions together. They gained wide recognition with a remix of Blinded by the Lights in 2009, which was played by several high-profile DJs, including Diplo, Skream and Chase & Status. Their first single, Innocence, was published in 2010 on MTA. It reached No. 167 on the U.K. Singles list. Their second single, Me & You, topped the U.K. Independent chart.
Their orchestral composition, The Dubstep Symphony, was played live with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra for BBC Radio 1 in 2011. Between II Worlds was issued in 2015 and showcased a version of their hit Into the Past.
