Missoula events

Ringed by mountains and split by the beautiful Clark Fork River, Missoula is one of western Montana's most important cities, and certainly one of its most attractive. After a long day exploring the scenic surroundings on hikes, bikes, climbs and rafting trips, return to downtown Missoula to take in some of the city's impressive cultural and entertainment offerings.

Missoula is jam packed with great venues for experiencing live music and entertainment, including the Top Hat Lounge and Stage 112. One of the best spots in the city to experience live music is the Big Sky Brewery. In addition to producing excellent brews, the Big Sky Brewery also hosts an annual outdoor summer concert series. What could be better than sipping brews while watching the sun set behind one of the continent's most picturesque regions? Past performers at the brewery have included Bob Dylan, Modest Mouse and Wilco. On the University of Montana campus, the Adams Event Center is a great place to enjoy a variety of entertainment options, including athletic events, concerts, live theatre, conventions and more.

Sports fans will enjoy supporting the University of Montana's athletic department at their various sports matches and competitions. One of the city's most beloved teams is the Montana Grizzlies Men's Basketball Team, which takes the court at the Dahlberg Arena against other Division I teams in the Big Sky Conference.
