The Mississippi State Bulldogs played their first college football game in 1895. Since then, they have built a reputation as one of the most exciting and unpredictable teams in the Southeastern (SEC) conference. While their all-time record may not carry an outstanding number of wins, their seasons are characterized by endless tailgating and home games played in front of more than 60,000 fans. It is also important to note that the shortage of success in recent years is a byproduct of the fact that they are a part of the most difficult NCAA football conference. Nonetheless, the Bulldogs managed to grab a conference title in 1941 and a division title in 1998. In addition, they have won six out of nine Bowl games since 2010. The team is looking forward to playing the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns at the end of August. The Bulldogs' schedule will subsequently see them face off against some of their in-conference rivals. The “ ”Mississippi Special“ ” takes place in late November when the Bulldogs welcome the Ole Miss Rebels in an in-state classic game. StubHub is your source for Mississippi State Bulldogs tickets.

Because the Mississippi State Bulldogs compete in one of the most popular and successful conferences, the tickets for their games are slightly more than the NCAA average. The Bulldogs play in the Southeastern conference where they compete in the Western division.
The Bulldogs will face-off against several popular and prominent teams from both their own and other Division I conferences. Two of the most nail-biting games, however, are going to be against the notorious Alabama Crimson Tide and Mississippi. Luckily for all Bulldogs supporters, both of these events will take place at the Davis Wade Stadium where Mississippi State plays.
Mike Leach is the current head coach for Mississippi State. He has been a head coach at Texas Tech and Washington State prior to taking the helm for the Bulldogs for the 2020 season. Entering 2021, he has amassed 143 wins and 97 losses in his career. Fans are eager to see what kind of changes and contributions he will make to the program once the 2021 season commences.
Even though the Bulldogs had a winning record in 2018, which consisted of eight wins and five losses, their performance at home was the real attention-getter. Out of seven total match-ups that took place at their own stadium, they only lost one. Unfortunately, they were not as successful in their conference as they lost half of the games that they played.
Two of the greatest rivals for the Bulldogs are the Ole Miss Rebels and LSU Tigers. Many fans continue to contemplate a rivalry with the Crimson Tide, which happens to be the case with practically any SEC team's fan base, but such thoughts are not too realistic. After all, out of 103 meetings between Mississippi State and Alabama, the Crimson Tide won 81.
