Milwaukee events

As Wisconsin's largest city, Milwaukee is naturally a center of culture and entertainment in the state. Situated on the shores of Lake Michigan just north of Chicago, Milwaukee is widely known as the City of Festivals, and there are certainly plenty of those around here. One of the favorites is Summerfest, which is actually formally logged in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest music festival - clearly, a must see.

Milwaukee venues

Milwaukee is home to several major league sports teams, including the MLB's Milwaukee Brewers, who play at Miller Park. Locals also enjoy cheering on the Milwaukee Bucks of the NBA. The Bucks take the court at BMO Harris Bradley Center, which also serves as one of the major venues for some of the best and brightest of the music industry as they pass through on tour.

Other popular concert venues include Pabst Theatre and Shank Hall. In addition to these, many of the city's various breweries are an appropriate place to enjoy live music in so-called Brew City. At the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, enjoy touring musicals and other theatrical productions, performances by the city's dance troupe and the music of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. The Milwaukee Repertory Theatre is another great place to enjoy performing arts productions.
