'Dover International Speedway track is an oval shape featuring four turns. In 1995, the track received a concrete surface to replace the original asphalt that covered the track when it opened in 1969. The track is one mile long and has extreme 24-degree banking with straight banking at 9 degrees, making it a monster track and one of the most competitive venues on the NASCAR schedule. Many racers and fans refer to the track as the Monster Mile.'
