''The Lady Terps of the University of Maryland represent their school in Division I NCAA basketball play. Maryland is a founding member of the Atlantic Coast Conference but left the school for the Big Ten conference in 2014. The Lady Terps have earned a spot in the Final Four round of the NCAA Tournament five times. The team won their first NCAA Tournament Championship in 2006. At the conference level, the Lady Terps finished as the regular-season champions of the ACC five times. The 10 tournament championships the team won as a member of the ACC is a conference record. It did not take the Lady Terps long to find success in their present conference, as the team was both the regular season and tournament champion in 2015. The team extended their dual conference championship streak to three when they duplicated the feat in both 2016 and 2017. You can buy Maryland Lady Terps Womens Basketball tickets at StubHub.'

'The 2002 National Coach of the Year Award given to Brenda Frese meant that expectations would be at an all-time high when she accepted the job as head coach of the Maryland Lady Terps. The 2002-2003 season was the first year at the helm for Frese and resulted in a 10-win season for the Lady Terps. By 2006, the turnaround was complete and the Maryland Lady Terps were NCAA Champions. The team has logged 15 consecutive 20-win seasons and won 30 games seven times with Frese at the helm.'
