'Ease Your Mind'

Maribou State is made up of Chris Davids and Liam Ivory. The two of them met while still in school and bonded over their mutual love of music. They both played in local bands, and then, when they were 16, they were asked to produce a remix for Hadouken! That solidified their desire to continue making music, and they formed Maribou State, releasing their debut EP in 2011. The artists released their second full-length album,

Kingdoms in Colour

, in 2018. Unlike the way the duo previously wrote and recorded their album, Maribou State left their home studio and traveled around London, setting up temporary recording areas to produce their new music, which featured

Holly Walker

and

Khruangbin

. To support the effort, the band took a five-piece band on the road, playing dates all over the UK for a Maribou State tour.
