About

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Mandy Patinkin went on to attend the University of Kansas, and later studied drama at the Juilliard School. He first launched his career performing with the New York Shakespeare Festival at the Public Theater, and eventually made his big-screen debut in 1978. Patinkin is probably best- known for playing the menacing Inigo Montoya in the hit movie The Princess Bride.
