Lucki tickets

Lucki Camel Jr. (born May 30, 1996), professionally known by his first name LUCKI, is an American recording artist and producer hailing from Chicago, Illinois.

LUCKI started making music in his freshman year of high school after his rapping abilities were highly praised by his friends. He would later cite Chief Keef and Lil Wayne as his inspirations. After realizing high school was not for him, he dropped out at the end of his sophomore year at 16 years old to fully devote himself to music.

LUCKI officially began his music career in late 2012 as Lucki Eck$—his first name and the last syllable of the drug Xanax. His debut single “Untouchable Lucki” was premiered with a music video from the popular YouTube channel and music blog, ELEVATOR. In the summer of that same year, he came to public attention in the Chicago rap scene and underground rap scene as a whole after receiving recognition for releasing his debut project, Alternative Trap.

After a relatively silent first half of 2014, LUCKI released his second project, Body High, an introspective project touching on his drug addictions.

On LUCKI’s birthday in 2015, he released his third project, X. He then followed up with this by releasing the first installment of the Freewave series, Freewave, in October of that year, with all ten of the tracks off the project being freestyles.

To kick off 2016, LUCKI announced his name change in January coinciding with the release of the single “Deja Vu.” LUCKI claimed that the Eck$ moniker was “childish” and that he had “grown” from the name. Later that year, he released the second installment of the Freewave series, Freewave 2, and an EP, Son of Sam. Near the end of the 2016, he took a break from music due to his mental health issues and his drug addiction—both of which slowed down his momentum of making music.

He returned eight months later in April 2017 with days be4 storm, which marked the first ever installment to the Days B4 series. It shared the cover with his at one point “favorite album,” Watch My Back, which was released less than a month later. The Days B4 series is campaigned throughout every project ever since 2017, making an appearance in April 2018 as a second installment, and later an exclusive two track extended play in May 2020 as idgaf days b4 may 30 :).

On February 15, 2019, LUCKI released his highly-anticipated debut studio album, Freewave 3, which is the third installment of his Freewave series. It features one of his most popular songs, “More Than Ever.” Some time after this, he became affiliated with the distribution company EMPIRE. Following the successful project, LUCKI gifted listeners on October 25, 2019 with another project; the third installment Days B4 III. This marked LUCKI’s first musical offering under EMPIRE.

Entering the following year, LUCKI became affiliated with his idol Future’s label, Freebandz. This shortly followed with his extended-play Almost There on May 29, 2020—along with a three track EP The World is Lucki’s on December 11, 2020.

Finally, after many months of hints, he released his highly anticipated debut collaborative project with F1LTHY, WAKE UP LUCKI on December 3, 2021. The project’s name is derived from F1LTHY’s producer tag, “Wake up, F1LTHY!” and LUCKI’s name.

After have dropping a slew of mixtapes and singles throughout 2017 and 2022, LUCKI released his long-awaited sophomore studio album, FLAWLESS LIKE ME on September 23, 2022. Then on July 7, 2023, after originally teased a deluxe version titled FLAWLESS LIKE ME: MADE MARTIAN, LUCKI instead released his third studio album, s*x m*ney dr*gs.

LUCKI’s music consists of him often speaking on saddening topics such as drug addiction and heartbreak over somber, psychedelic instrumentals giving an overall depressing sense.
