'John Hackworth, who became the head coach and sporting director of Louisville City FC in 2018, has a long and prodigious career in American soccer. After getting his start with the Wake Forest men’s and women’s teams in the 1990s, Hackworth was the head coach of the South Florida Bulls and the US U-17 team and an assistant on the US Men’s National team. He also served as an assistant and head coach of the Philadelphia Union in the MLS between 2009 and 2014.'
