First, Live will be kicking things off right as they make their way to Jacksonville, Florida, to bring down the house at the two day hard rock event known simply as Rockville. Live will be gracing the mainstage at the Jacksonville Metro Park alongside other rock legends in the field as they deliver their staple and high octane performers to festival revelers in America's sunniest state. Live will be first among equals at a hard hitting music event that will include the likes of Ministry, Korn, Godsmack, Marilyn Manson, Breaking Benjamin, Slayer, Slash, Halestorm, Papa Roach, Slipknot, and many more.
Next, Live will thrash their way to Philadelphia, making their way to the heart of the city of Wilkes Barre where they'll be delivering their jams to the adult wonderland known as the Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Once they're done bringing down the house at the Mohegan Sun the band will be making their way to the eastern City of Sin to bring down the house in what is being hailed as the biggest rock event to pass through Atlantic City this year.

Live began as a tight knit music group formed by middle school friends Ed Kowalzyk, Chad Taylor, Patrick Dahlheimer, and Chad Gracey. The four up and coming musicians would become fixtures on the local York, PA music scene as they experimented with a series of musical acts and genres, eventually taking the self recorded music route in 1989 under the moniker Public Affection. They would eventually catch the eyes and ears of record execs at Radioactive Records, signing a record deal in 1991 and officially changing their name to Live.
The band immediately hit the studio to record their first big label EP, with tracks from the record instantly climbing to the top of the hard rock world. Shortly after, the band released their debut LP and the band made appearances at various major tour events, including Woodstock '94 and the 120 Minutes tour. They eventually waded their way into mainstream television, appearing on Saturday Night Live as well as MTV's acoustic series Unplugged, marking their ascension into the highest echelons of the rock music world.
The band continued to record and release hits throughout the 90s, with the band integrating Buddhist and Hindu themes into their songwriting. The band's soulful hit single Overcome would drop near the tragic events of 9/11, receiving massive radio airplay as it became an integral part of the nation's healing process.
By 2005 the band made the move to Sony BMG, with continued success that marked them as a decade spanning success story that was showing no signs of slowing down. Despite the band's impressive track record, they decided to take a two year hiatus in 2009, which ultimately led to Ed Kowalczyk beginning his rapidly successful solo career that would see him permanently exit Live. The band would choose to replace Kowalczyk with new frontman Chris Shinn, who has been rocking with Live ever since as they continue to release hard hitting rock tracks with each and every exciting new release.
1994 would see the release of Throwing Copper, one of the band's most successful albums to date that received fifteen platinum certifications for sales and climbed to the #1 positions on the US, Australian, Canadian, and New Zealand music charts, and competitive positions on charts across Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The album would drop on Radioactive Records, and was a gritty representation of the 00s post grunge hard genre that received overwhelming positive critical reception, including a near perfect score from AllMusic and four stars from Q and Rolling Stone magazines. The album featured a slew of hit singles that have become iconic and fundamental pieces of the Live discography, including Selling the Drama, Lightning Crashes, White, Discussion, I Alone, and All Over You.
The departure of Ed Kowalczyk would not be an amicable affair, with the rift allegedly being caused by Ed's demand for a $100,000 lead singer bonus. The two parties would become embroiled in a series of lawsuits after the departure.
American Idol competitor and now frontman Chris Daughtry would plagiarize Live's own cover version Johnny Cash's I Walk The Line. Daughtry would later repented, apologizing for trying to claim ownership of the cover and admitted that LIve is one of his all time favorite bands.
The Live concert experience offers everything you need for a perfect musical experience: unbeatable talent and charisma, a decades spanning discography of unforgettable hits, and pure unadulterated musical talent.
