'Liquid Stranger is the stage moniker of Swedish EDM musician and producer Martin Stääf. Among the various electronic music genres, Liquid Stranger focuses on dubstep and downtempo. He has been active since the '90s and created the Liquid Stranger concept in 2003 as a way to bring all of his musical interests under one umbrella that fans could recognize. Many of Liquid Stranger's extended plays and studio albums have produced singles that made it to various popular music charts and helped to increase the artist's profile. Some of his best-known songs are Subsonic Soil, Spores, Monster and Steel Trap. Liquid Stranger has also produced remixes of songs from other EDM performers.'

Stääf started his life on the west coast of Sweden. As early as the age of 6, he was playing the piano and learning classical music compositions. Around the age of 9, he became interested in synthesizers and started experimenting with various sounds and beats. This interest grew quickly, and Stääf decided to abandon the classical music scene to focus on EDM - a decision that would guide the next decade of his life. Liquid Stranger started out making tracks for fun, but when he was 17, he realized it could also become a job. From 1997 to 2003, he worked on various projects by himself and with other artists, making extended plays. After a few years, he realized he could bring his collection and influences together as Liquid Stranger, and a new EDM persona was born. He released his first full-length album,
