Nebraska's capital and second largest city, Lincoln is understandably a hub of arts and culture in the state of Nebraska. Pile into Memorial Stadium Nebraska with the rest of the Huskers fans (turning the stadium into what would be the third-largest city in the state, as it's said) or enjoy some of the music and theatre offerings in downtown Lincoln. It's your choice!

Connoisseurs of culture will enjoy live performances by the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra or the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra. At the Lied Center for Performing Arts, spectators can enjoy a variety of performing arts ranging from dance to orchestra to musicals and theatre. If you're more of the concert-going variety, you'll enjoy the offerings at venues such as Duffy's Tavern, the Bourbon Theatre or the Rococo Theatre.

Lincoln is home to an American Association baseball team, the Lincoln Saltdogs. Grab yourself a box of Cracker Jacks and take a seat at Haymarket Park to experience the fun. Also big here are the athletics teams at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, which is a member of the Big Ten Conference. The Nebraska Cornhuskers football team boasts five championship titles and 46 conference championships. You can catch them in action at Memorial Stadium Nebraska - just don't forget to don the appropriate attire. Football games here are more like a sea of red; wear your Huskers jersey and don't forget to scream Go Big Red! with the rest of the crowd.
