'Who is the coach of the Liberty Flames?'

'Ritchie McKay is in his fifth season at the helm of the Flames. He has taken a program that was 8-24 the year before his arrival and turned it around to the point where it is the conversation of the top mid-major programs in the country. This is actually McKay's second stint at the school as he was previously head coach of the program until 2009.'

'What is the Liberty Flames style of play?'

'Coach McKay was a protege of Tony Bennett's when he was an assistant coach at the University of Virginia. There, he picked up an understanding of the tough defense that UVA plays, and he brought it to Liberty. The Flames team has improved defensively practically each year under McKay and has allowed only 61.4 points per game in the 2018-19 season. In order to beat Liberty, teams will have to take the Flames out of its normal style of play. That is a tall task.'

'The Liberty Flame who had the most prolific career in the pros is Seth Curry. He is the brother of Stephen Curry and played several seasons at Liberty. 'The Flames has had four NCAA Tournament berths.
