Maui Invitational
, the Lahaina Civic Center is a multipurpose sports and recreational facility in Lahaina, Hawaii, on the island of Maui. Built in 1972, this busy civic center is used throughout the year as a venue for karate classes, volleyball games, community events, festivals, concerts and high school basketball leagues. The Lahaina Civic Center is also host to special events like the World Youth Basketball Tournament. The Maui Invitational is an NCAA basketball tournament sponsored by Chaminade University, and it is a popular event here every November. Some of the best US college teams come to the island to participate. The Lahaina Civic Center is not as big or modern as many other college basketball venues, but its quirkiness and nostalgic atmosphere draw the teams. Coaches and players enjoy the closeness of the crowds during the games and relish the enthusiasm of the fans. Get your tickets for Lahaina Civic Center events at StubHub.

'The town of Lahaina was once the original seat of the Hawaiian Monarchy as well as a whaling village and seaport. Visiting the beaches is the best thing to do while in Lahaina, and snorkeling tours and coastal trails offer a great way to experience the natural beauty of Hawaii. Visit a restaurant with hula dancers, and be sure to take a stroll down Lahaina Front Street.'
