Thirty-one of the games on their schedule are against teams that appeared in the 2019 NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats will face 11 teams who were College World Series participants. Their schedule offers exciting series at home, including an SEC three-game series vs.

Alabama

South Carolina

,

Florida

,

Missouri

and

LSU

. You will see the much-anticipated annual game against rival

Louisville

'What are the Kentucky Wildcats' top games?'

'The Kentucky Wildcats 2020 schedule features games against solid opponents like Vanderbilt University, University of Florida, Mississippi State University and big rival the University of Louisville.'

'Who is the Kentucky Wildcats' coach?'

'Nick Mingione came on as the Kentucky Wildcats' head baseball coach in June 2016 after several years of serving as an assistant coach under John Cohen. In his first season at Kentucky, Mingione proved to be a fast learner as the 2017 Wildcats began setting records. Appearing in the NCAA Tournament Super Regionals for the first time, the Wildcats found themselves ranked in the Top 10 of each major college baseball poll. With 43 wins that year, they were only two wins short of a school record for the most wins for a first-year coach in the program's history. They had 19 wins in the SEC and were second only to the 20 games won in the conference by the 2006 championship team. The team ranked in the Top 25 through most of the 2018 season, including 10 weeks in the Top 10. Mingione had 77 wins in his first two seasons, which is second only to the 78 wins under John Cohen in the 2007-2008 season.'

'What was the Kentucky Wildcats' 2019 record?'

'The Kentucky Wildcats finished seventh in the SEC Conference in the 2019 season. They had a 26-29 record overall. They were 16-15 at home and 10-14 on the road.'

'How is the tailgating scene at Kentucky Proud Park?'

'Completed in 2018, Kentucky Proud Park opened for the 2019 regular baseball season. Tailgating has seen a big change since the new park opened. Previously at Cliff Hagan Stadium, tailgating took place in an area called the Cliff that was just outside the outfield wall with a great view of the action. Since Kentucky Proud Park has a 360-degree concourse within its gates and no obvious areas for tailgating, adjustments have been made. Tailgating spots can be reserved by registered student organizations in parking lots around the park, and other solutions are being researched as well.'
