'Jon Wolfe considers himself a country singer and songwriter. Others describe him in different terms, such as a musical rebel and a traditionalist with strong roots in classic honky-tonk styles. One thing everyone agrees on: Jon Wolfe's mix of upbeat, foot-stomping tunes that can get a crowd up and dancing. Regardless of which description is preferable, one thing remains apparent: Jon Wolfe is a country music force to be reckoned with.'

Miami, Oklahoma, claims Jon Wolfe as its native son. Born and raised in this small town 90 miles from Tulsa, Wolfe began singing in church growing up. His stepfather introduced him to country music; he was the bass player with the regular band at the area's country hot spot. Young Wolfe watched the amazing ascension of fellow Oklahoma native Garth Brooks and began to envision himself pursuing a career in country music.
After trying his hand at commodities trading in Chicago for a while, Wolfe found his way to Texas, working across Houston's country music scene before landing in the Austin/San Marcos area. He paid his dues as a regular on the Lone Star honky-tonk circuit, eventually graduating up to sharing the stage with country favorites like Asleep at the Wheel, Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard and George Straight.

Almost Gone, Jon Wolfe's self-released debut album, brought him enough attention in 2005 that he landed in a show in Nashville in 2006. This appearance garnered him a deal with Midas, an independent label. Midas folded before releasing any of Wolfe's work but he continued performing and writing songs. In 2010, he self-released his album It All Happened in a Honky Tonk, which brought success in the Southwest region. Five singles came from the album, each reaching the top 10 on the Texas Music Chart. Warner Bros. reissued the album in 2013.
Wolfe came out with his third release in 2015. Natural Man combined Wolfe's passion for traditional country with contemporary pop energy and harmonies. Billboard's Top Country Albums chart saw the album debut at No. 25. Wolfe released Any Night in Texas, his latest album, in June 2017 to a debut spot at No. 6 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart. It opened at No. 14 on the Independent Albums chart.
Jon's single, Boots on a Dance Floor, from Any Night in Texas hit the No. 1 spot on the Texas Regional Radio Report. Wolfe's Fool Hearted Productions label released the album.
''Some other country favorites who can get your foot stomping and your body up and dancing include Cody Johnson and Aaron Watson.'
